We are seeking to appoint an inspiring and enthusiastic Learning Assistant Level 2 to support pupils at Cowley International College. The successful candidates will need strong communication skills along with patience, resilience, strength of character and a friendly determination to deal with some of our most vulnerable pupils and their families.

Cowley is a high school and Sixth Form College with approximately 1500 students, of which 250 are in the Sixth Form. Cowley is steeped in history and is one of the oldest schools in St Helens, if not the oldest having been founded in 1716.

We were delighted to welcome Ofsted in March 2026. During the visit, inspectors consistently described our students as “delightful” and recognised the genuine pride they take in being part of the College.

There is always something happening here in our college, whether that be dance shows, sporting events, clubs or special guest talks.
