Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Technician to support our Lead Electrician in the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems within our luxury fifth wheel caravans. This is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone who takes pride in precision work and high-quality finishes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Lead Electrician with installation of 12V and 240V electrical systems
- Manufacture and assemble bespoke cable looms to exact specifications
- Wiring of control panels, lighting systems, appliances, and electronic components
- Installation of battery systems, inverters, solar panels, and charging systems
- Routing, terminating, and securing cables to high aesthetic and safety standards
- Testing, fault finding, and commissioning of electrical systems
- Ensuring all work complies with relevant electrical regulations and company quality standards
- Supporting continuous improvement in build processes and electrical design
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Previous experience in electrical installation (automotive, leisure vehicles, marine, or domestic)
- Experience in manufacturing or assembling cable looms / wiring harnesses
- Basic understanding of 12V and 240V systems
- Ability to read and follow wiring diagrams and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and pride in high-quality workmanship
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work as part of a team
Desirable:
- Experience in caravan, motorhome, or automotive manufacturing
- Knowledge of solar systems, lithium battery setups, or off-grid systems
- Relevant electrical qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
- Experience working on bespoke or luxury products

Pay: £12.71-£13.75 per hour
