We are looking for compassionate, resilient and committed individuals to join our therapeutic team, supporting up to three children aged 10–18 in our warm, family-style children's home.

Halls Homes is a children's residential home providing therapeutic care for young people who have experienced trauma, loss and adversity.
Our practice is underpinned by Dyadic Developmental Practice (DDP) and the PACE approach, meaning we seek to understand the story behind behaviour rather than simply manage it.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Therapeutic Residential Support Worker, no two days are the same. You will:
- Build trusting, nurturing relationships with children.
- Support children to regulate emotions using therapeutic approaches.
- Create positive daily experiences and lasting memories.
- Encourage education, hobbies, independence and life skills.
- Plan and participate in fun activities and outings.
- Support children through difficult moments with empathy and curiosity.
- Work alongside families and professionals to achieve the best outcomes.
- Complete high-quality, child-centred recordings.
- Safeguard children and promote their wellbeing at all times.
- Be part of a reflective, supportive and ambitious team.

Experience in children's residential care is welcomed but not essential if you have the right values and a genuine commitment to making a difference.

Essential Requirements
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work a rolling shift pattern, including evenings and weekends (sleep-ins not required for all staff)
- Successful enhanced DBS check
- Right to work in the UK
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (desirable)

Pay: £28,080.00-£36,640.00 per year
