Overview
We are undertaking a substantial residential construction project comprising a full refurbishment and extension of a large private residence, including the construction of a new basement. The project involves structural alterations, underpinning, waterproofing, drainage, steelwork, fit-out and external works.
We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Multi-Skilled Tradesperson to become a key member of the site team. This role is suited to an individual who enjoys variety, takes ownership of their work, and can support multiple aspects of the construction process from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Assist with basement construction works including excavation, underpinning, waterproofing and drainage installation.
- Carry out general building and refurbishment works throughout the project.
- Assist with structural steel installation and temporary works.
- Construct formwork and assist with concrete pours.
- Install drainage, ducting and underground services.
- Carry out carpentry, framing and general fit-out works.
- Assist with demolition and structural alterations.
- Support specialist subcontractors and coordinate site activities.
- Read and work from drawings and site instructions.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and site safety.
- Assist with external works, landscaping and finishing works as required.
Essential Requirements
- Strong construction experience across multiple trades.
- Proven experience in refurbishment, extension or basement projects.
- Good understanding of structural and groundwork operations.
- Ability to work independently and solve practical site problems.
- Competent using hand and power tools.
- CSCS Card.
- Reliable, punctual and professional.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with basement construction and underpinning.
- Waterproofing and drainage installation experience.
- Carpentry and joinery skills.
- Groundworks experience.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings.

Pay: £18.00-£23.00 per hour
