Sports Coach
Overview:
Join our fun and enthusiastic team of Casual Coaches this summer and enjoy a rewarding and fulfilling role delivering sports and activities to children ages 5-12 years old.
Due to the growth within the organisation, ELP Sports are looking for Holiday Camp Staff to work at our Multi-Activity Camps in Sandwell.
Duties:
- Planning and delivering high quality sports and physical activity sessions to young people that are engaging and inclusive.
- Completing relevant risk assessments and logs to ensure safety of participants.
- Managing behaviour effectively to maintain a positive environment for participants.
- Taking appropriate steps to identify and overcome barriers to participation at the Multi Sports Camp sessions.
- Carrying out all duties in accordance with company policies and protocols.
- Attending professional development where required for the role.
- Being a positive role model, creating a positive and engaging environment which encourages participation in sport and physical activity.
- Being a brand ambassador whilst working for ELP Sports, demonstrating our company values.
- Communicate with parents.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to plan, organise and facilitate high quality sports and physical activity sessions.
- Solve problems effectively and efficiently.
Essential
- Safeguarding Qualification.
- Current Enhanced DBS Check.
- 2+ years sports coaching experience.
- To be able to make your own way to the venue (own form of transport).
- Experience delivering sports/activities sessions.
- Sports coaching qualifications.
Desirable
- First Aid.
- Driving License
