Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving processes
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality output
- Oversee food safety protocols and sanitation standards to maintain compliance with health regulations
- Coordinate daily menu planning, inventory management, and ordering supplies to ensure smooth operations
- Lead by example in culinary techniques and customer service, fostering a positive team environment
- Monitor kitchen performance metrics and implement improvements for productivity and quality enhancement
- Ensure all team members adhere to safety procedures and company policies at all times
- Support in employment of any new staff members and training
- Working as a team to complete rotas, all H&S file and F&S file are up to date with training completed
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food production, cooking, and restaurant or hospitality environments
- Strong management skills with previous supervising or leadership experience in a kitchen setting
- Extensive knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques across diverse cuisines and barista experience is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team with energy, motivation, and clear communication
- Prior experience in culinary roles such as chef or line cook is highly desirable

Pay: £34,000.00-£37,500.00 per year
