About Uplift
Uplift Holiday Camps provide fun, engaging, and enriching experiences for children aged 4–14 during school holidays. We offer a wide variety of activities including sports, arts and crafts, performing arts, STEM projects, outdoor adventures, and team challenges.
We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic Activity Coaches to join our growing team and help create unforgettable experiences for children.
The Role
As an Activity Coach, you will lead and support a range of exciting activities throughout the day, ensuring every child feels included, engaged, and inspired. You will be responsible for creating a positive environment where children can develop confidence, make friends, learn new skills, and most importantly, have fun.
Whether your strengths are in sports, creative arts, drama, dance, music, or a combination of activities, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities for children aged 4–14.
- Lead sessions in sports, arts and crafts, drama, dance, music, games, and team-building activities.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in your care.
- Encourage participation, confidence, and positive behaviour.
- Support children with varying abilities and needs.
- Assist with setting up and tidying away activities and equipment.
- Work closely with fellow coaches and camp management.
- Follow all safeguarding, health and safety, and company procedures.
- Act as a positive role model at all times.
What We're Looking For

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate groups of children.
- Confidence leading activities independently.
- Understanding of safeguarding and child welfare responsibilities.
Desirable Experience
- Experience working in schools, childcare, holiday camps, sports coaching, youth work, performing arts, or community programmes.
- Qualifications in sports coaching, performing arts, childcare, education, youth work, or related fields.
- First Aid qualification.
- Experience leading sports sessions, dance classes, drama workshops, arts and crafts activities, or children's entertainment.
