Steam Mill Lodges is looking for a reliable and hardworking Part-Time Hot Tub Cleaner to join our team at our luxury lodge site in Oakthorpe.
Our hot tubs are an important part of our guests' stays, and we're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and has a good eye for detail to ensure they are cleaned, maintained and ready to a high standard for every new arrival.
The role is predominantly Mondays and Fridays, 9:00am–4:00pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Additional hours are also available during the week and at weekends as and when required.
Responsibilities:
- Drain, thoroughly clean and refill hot tubs between guest stays
- Clean and sanitise the inside of hot tubs, filters, covers and surrounding areas
- Carry out routine water quality checks and add the required chemicals
- Ensure hot tubs are clean, safe and ready for arriving guests
- Carry out basic checks of hot tub equipment
- Report any faults, damage or maintenance issues
- Keep hot tub cleaning equipment and working areas clean and organised
- Monitor cleaning products and supplies and advise when stock is running low
- Assist with other general site duties when required
We're looking for someone who:
- Is reliable, punctual and dependable
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Takes pride in maintaining high standards
- Is comfortable working independently
- Is physically fit and comfortable with a hands-on role involving bending, lifting and repetitive tasks
- Is happy working outdoors throughout the year and in varying weather conditions
- Can follow cleaning, chemical handling and health & safety procedures
- Has some flexibility to work additional hours when required
Previous experience with hot tubs, pools, cleaning or general maintenance would be an advantage, but it isn't essential as full training will be provided.

Pay:
£12.71 per hour, depending on experience.
