We are looking for a motivated Locum Dental Hygienist/Therapist to join our mixed NHS/ Independent dental practice on a temporary basis throughout the summer.
We're a patient focused practice that takes pride in delivering high quality care in a relaxed and supportive environment working in a collaborative team.
Responsibilities
- Conducting direct access appointments and providing personalised treatment plans for patients
- Carry out treatment on a referral basis from general dental practitioners within the practice
- Perform professional hygiene procedures, including scaling and polishing, to maintain optimal oral health
- Deliver periodontal therapy and education to patients to promote good oral hygiene practices
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with practice protocols
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and health & safety regulations during all procedures
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist or Therapist within a clinical setting
- GDC registration
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to reassure and educate patients effectively
- Organisation skills to manage appointments efficiently while maintaining high standards of care

Pay
Competitive UDA Rate or hourly rate
