Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Guest Service Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a memorable experience. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to handle various guest inquiries effectively. Multilingual or bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
Duties
- Welcome guests upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
- Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and transactions
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation in the front desk area
Experience
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred
- Strong guest service skills with a focus on creating positive experiences
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous for effective communication with diverse guests
- Familiarity with hotel management software is beneficial but not essential
- A friendly demeanour and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
