Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems and be proficient in using both power and hand tools. This role involves working on various projects, ensuring that all electrical installations and repairs are completed safely and efficiently. The Electrician will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of workmanship and adhering to all safety regulations.
At the moment, we are seeking a part-time candidate; however, a full-time position may be offered to the right candidate
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and specifications to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Use power tools and hand tools effectively to carry out installations and repairs.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations during all work activities.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role within the electrical field.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to electrical work.
- Ability to read technical documents such as blueprints and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical work are desirable but not mandatory.

Pay: Up to £45,000.00 per year
