We are looking for a Pensions Governance Executive to support the effective governance and operational management of DHL Group’s UK Pension Plan, working closely with the Trustee Board, Pensions Operations Committee, advisers, and internal stakeholders.
What you will be doing:
- Provide high-quality governance support to the Trustee Board and Pensions Operations Committee (POC).
- Coordinate committee activities, including meeting agendas, papers, minutes, actions, and governance records.
- Maintain key governance documentation, including policies, registers, terms of reference, and business plans.
- Support risk management activities, compliance requirements, and governance improvement initiatives.
- Manage and monitor governance projects, ensuring milestones and actions are delivered effectively.
- Coordinate processes such as Internal Dispute Resolution Procedure (IDRP) cases and data breach management.
- Work closely with pension advisers, administrators, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure effective service delivery.
- Support Trustee communications, regulatory disclosures, and continuous improvement initiatives across pension governance processes.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant pensions experience/qualification.
- 4+ years of experience in pensions governance or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of UK occupational pensions governance, legislation, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience supporting Trustee Boards, committees, or governance processes.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders and external advisers.
- Experience in risk management, compliance, project management, or process improvement is desirable.
- Ability to work independently, solve problems, and identify opportunities to improve processes.
