Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Pub Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our establishment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, possess strong leadership skills, and have a keen eye for food quality and customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage all aspects of pub operations, from staff supervision to food safety, while fostering a positive environment for both guests and team members.
Duties
- Oversee daily pub operations, ensuring high standards of service, cleanliness, and safety are maintained.
- Supervise and motivate staff, including bartenders, servers, kitchen personnel, and cleaning staff, promoting teamwork and excellent customer service.
- Manage food preparation and cooking processes to guarantee quality and consistency in all menu items.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain proper food production procedures.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to oversee food inventory, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste.
- Lead staff training on hospitality best practices, food safety standards, and service excellence.
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure a positive experience for all guests.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a hospitality environment, ideally within a pub or restaurant setting.
- Strong team management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff effectively.
- Extensive restaurant or culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols.
- Previous experience in hospitality roles such as serving or barista work is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, food production processes, and hotel or bar environments is advantageous.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with excellent communication skills.

Pay: £26,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
