Job Summary
Own-Car / Van Courier (Owner-Driver) Greater Manchester
We are recruiting reliable owner-drivers with their own car or van to collect and deliver small parcels across Greater Manchester. Full-time and part-time roles are available.
Depots Stockport (SK4 3QW) or other locations including Dukinfield, Stakehill, Rochdale, Trafford Park, Europa Way, Halifax, Huddersfield.
Daily expectations
- Collect your parcels from your assigned depot (collection windows typically between 7:30–8:00 am or 9:00 am–12:00 noon, depending on depot)
- Deliver all assigned small parcels (target completion by 9:00 pm where required)
- Head straight home once your round is finished
- Return any undelivered parcels the following morning if applicable
Pay & costs
- 70p–£1 per parcel (rate depends on depot and round)
- Typical daily volume: 75–120 parcels
- You use your own car or van and cover your own fuel costs
Requirements
- Valid UK driving licence
- Own roadworthy car or van suitable for multi-drop work
- Reliable, self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Vehicle insurance that covers courier/business use
