Restaurant Assistant – Homeleigh Garden Centre, Crediton

Hours: 5 days per week, will including occassional weekends or one of the weekend days each week.

About the Role
We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic and reliable Restaurant Assistants to join our team at Homeleigh Garden Centre, Crediton.
This is a full-time position working 5 days per week, with shifts starting at 9:00am and finishing at close (5pm). Weekend working will be required as part of the role.
You will play an important part in ensuring our customers receive a welcoming and enjoyable experience, helping to keep our restaurant running smoothly and maintaining the high standards our customers expect.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming and serving customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Taking customer orders and processing payments
- Preparing and serving food and drinks
- Clearing and cleaning tables
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the restaurant
- Ensuring the restaurant is fully stocked and ready for service
- Helping with opening and closing duties
- Working effectively during busy periods
- Following food hygiene, health & safety and company procedures
- Supporting colleagues across the restaurant team as required
- Providing excellent customer service at all times
About You

- Be flexible and available to work weekends
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
Working Hours
This is a full-time position working 5 days per week.
Shifts will start at 9:00am and finish at close, with the role including weekend working as part of the regular rota.
