The Marble Group is an established and growing stone fabrication company with over 19 years of industry experience. We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our warehouse and production team. No previous experience is required, as full training will be provided. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic who is keen to learn a skilled trade and build a long-term career.
This position is offered on a 3-6 month fixed-term contract, with the opportunity for the contract to be extended or made permanent based on performance and business requirements.
The Role
Your primary place of work will be our stone fabrication warehouse, where you will receive hands-on training and assist with a variety of production tasks. You will learn all aspects of the fabrication process while working alongside experienced members of our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside experienced machine operators to understand the operation of our machinery, including:
- Edge polishers
- Waterjet cutting machines
- GMM bridge saws
- CNC saws
- Learn the fabrication of granite, quartz and marble, including cutting, polishing and finishing.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication plans.
- Gain knowledge of the different stone materials we supply and learn the correct methods for handling and working with each.
- Assist with general warehouse and production duties.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Follow all health and safety procedures.
