About the role
We're looking for experienced Pipefitters to join our team on the SRP project. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile engineering project, delivering mechanical piping installations to the highest standards of quality and safety.
As a Pipefitter, you'll play a key role in the installation, fabrication, maintenance and repair of piping systems, working alongside a skilled team to ensure project milestones are achieved safely and efficiently.
What you'll be doing
- Installing and assembling pipework and fittings in line with engineering drawings and specifications.
- Carrying out maintenance and repairs on mechanical piping systems.
- Fabricating pipework, including cutting, threading, bending and welding to required standards.
- Inspecting and testing systems to ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements.
- Recording work completed, materials used and any issues identified.
- Adhering to all site safety procedures and regulations.
- Collaborating with other trades and project teams to deliver work safely and on schedule.
Who we're looking for
Essential:
- Level 3 Apprenticeship in Engineering Construction – Pipefitter Standard, or
- Diploma in Installing Engineering Construction Plant and Systems (Pipefitting), or
- ECITB Diploma in Installing Engineering Construction Plant and Systems – Pipefitting (SCQF Level 6).
- Valid ACE Card.
- Time-served Pipefitter status with a recognised apprenticeship.
- Ability to obtain BPSS Clearance.
