Shift Patterns available:
- UK Tramping Work (4 on 4 off and 5 & 6 Shift)*
- Weekend UK Tramping Work*
*Please note this is a tramping role, no day shift roles available. This position is based in Stranraer - we are looking based within a 70 mile radius of the depot.
Duties
- Operate the truck in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Load and secure cargo appropriately to prevent damage during transit.
- Deliver goods to designated locations, ensuring timely arrival and adherence to delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transport.
- Communicate effectively with the Operations Team.
- Uphold cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Full HGV Class 1 licence, Driver Tachograph Card & Valid International CPC's required.
- 1 year's Class 1 experience required & Refrigerated Transport Experience is desirable but not essential.
- ADR Qualification is not necessary, but is advantageous for some positions.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills
- A commitment to safety and compliance with all transportation regulations.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is advantageous but not essential.
