The Role
We are seeking an experienced Plumbing & Heating Engineer to carry out a variety of plumbing and heating installations, maintenance, and repairs across domestic and commercial properties in the High Peak and Stockport regions. Key Responsibilities
· Undertake first and second fix plumbing installations to a high standard
· Install, service, and repair heating systems including radiators, pipework, and associated components
· Carry out full heating system installations and upgrades
· Diagnose and resolve plumbing and heating faults efficiently
· Work from technical drawings and specifications
· Ensure all work complies with current building regulations and industry standards
· Maintain excellent customer relations and provide professional advice
· Complete job documentation accurately and in a timely manner
· Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle to a high standard
· Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines
Essential Requirements
· Proven experience as a Plumbing & Heating Engineer (minimum 3+ years preferred)
· Confident and competent in both first fix and second fix plumbing work
· Strong technical knowledge of plumbing and heating systems
· Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
· Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship on every project
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
· Strong communication and customer service skills
· Full UK driving licence
· Ability to work in the High Peak and Stockport areas
· Professional, reliable, and punctual approach to work
Desirable Qualifications
· Gas Safe registration (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1) – a bonus but not essential
· NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing & Heating or equivalent
· City & Guilds qualifications in Plumbing
· Unvented hot water certification (G3)
· Experience with renewable heating technologies
