School Cleaner – Manchester Schools
We are currently recruiting reliable and hardworking School Cleaners to work across schools in Manchester.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced cleaners who take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic learning environment for pupils and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning classrooms, offices, corridors, toilets, and communal areas.
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely.
- Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and dusting all designated areas.
- Replenishing hygiene and cleaning supplies.
- Following health and safety procedures and COSHH guidelines.
- Ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained at all times.
- Securing areas after cleaning where required.
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience within a school or educational setting is essential.
- A valid Enhanced DBS Certificate or an Enhanced DBS registered on the DBS Update Service.
- Good understanding of cleaning procedures and hygiene standards.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work as part of a team
