Support Worker (Female) – Supported Living
Location: Malmesbury
Hours: 24-hour shifts (including sleep-in)
Key Requirements (Essential)
- Female applicants only (in line with the person accessing support’s preference and care needs)
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work 24-hour shifts including sleep-ins
- Must be able to reliably commute to Malmesbury
- Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
- Experience in a support worker or similar care role
- Ability to work independently in a person-centred way
About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Support Worker who can build trust, empower individuals, and inspire confidence in those they support.
This role involves working independently within a supported living environment in the home of a female with additional needs. You will provide person-centred support that promotes safety, wellbeing, independence, and choice.
You will play a key role in enabling the person to live a life of their choosing, following their individual support plans and Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs).
Key Responsibilities
- Support with daily living activities and household management
- Encourage participation in community activities such as shopping, cafés, and leisure outings
- Promote health, wellbeing, and a balanced lifestyle
- Support the individual to make informed choices, respecting dignity, equality, and capacity
- Follow and implement person-centred support plans and PBSPs
- Work independently while maintaining high standards of care
