We are looking to add a part time Kitchen Assistant to our team, for 1-2 shifts, 10-20 hours.
Experience in commercial kitchens is essential. We are looking for a strong work ethic and a can do attitude. There are always jobs that can be done during the day and applicants must have the drive and self initiative to make themselves useful and keep busy.
The main responsibility of this role is maintaining the dish washer and staying on top of the dishes. The successful applicant will be expected to maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and back of house area throughout the week, and support the chefs in daily prep.
During the week you will have the time to assist in doing more than just operating the dish washer, as the flow of service means an industrious individual will have plenty of downtime to get involved in preparation and cooking. You will be expected to get stuck in and learn.
The Pay
- at or just above minimum wage for your age
- with an equal share of service charge that equates to £2-3 per hour on top of your wage and is paid directly with your payslip
