Job Title: Production and Customer Service Assistant
Salary: £24,500- £26,500(dependent on experience)
Location: Holly Farm Business Park, Honiley, Warwickshire, CV8 1NP. This is an office-based role.
Hours: Full-time hours Monday – Thursday 9am - 5pm, Friday 9am – 4.30pm.
Basis: Permanent

Overview:
This is primarily a Production-based role within the Operations team, with opportunities to support the Customer Service department during busy periods and to provide cover for annual leave and sickness. While your day-to-day focus will be on Production, this dual-role offers variety and the chance to develop a broader understanding of the business. We’re looking for a highly motivated, natural problem-solver, who is hard-working and creative at heart.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing fabric and threads
- Assembling cross stitch and crochet kits, other accessories, subscription and advent boxes
- Performing stock checks and quality checking deliveries
- Preparing wholesale orders and event supplies
- Responding to customer emails for Caterpillar Cross Stitch and Caterpillar Crochet
- Answering the phone to customers
- Moderating and responding to Facebook, YouTube and Instagram customer comments and messages. Working alongside and liaising with our moderator teams
- Monitoring and supporting management of the Caterpillar Club Subscription Box and All-Star Stitchers Membership
- Liaising with and submitting claims to Royal Mail
- Working alongside our Fulfilment team to resolve order errors for customers
- Keeping the office tidy, clean and organised
- Additional tasks (as required) assisting the fulfilment and marketing teams
Skills and Experience:
- Comfortable multi-tasking and working to deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills
- Proactive and self-motivated with good communication
- Ability to work in a team and on your own
- Knowledge and understanding of crafts
- At least two years’ practical experience in kit assembly, or ecommerce operations and customer service within an office‑based environment.
