The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, leading clinical teams, and maintaining compliance with healthcare standards. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise clinical staff, fostering a collaborative and professional team environment.
- Develop, review, and implement care plans tailored to individual patient needs, ensuring best practice standards are met.
- Oversee daily clinical operations, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to healthcare professionals regarding clinical procedures and protocols.
- Monitor patient progress and ensure documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and up-to-date.
- Facilitate effective communication between multidisciplinary teams, patients, and their families to promote understanding and engagement.
- Organise training sessions and professional development activities for staff to maintain high standards of care.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing service delivery and patient safety.
Experience
- Proven experience in a clinical setting with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively liaise with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in IT systems relevant to healthcare management, including electronic health records.
- Experience in developing and managing care plans tailored to individual patient requirements.
- Previous experience in supervising or leading clinical teams is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices within the UK healthcare system.
