Every donation, fundraising page and event registration represents someone choosing to stand alongside people affected by dementia.
But what makes that experience simple? What helps someone feel confident enough to take that next step and support our cause?
That’s where you come in.
As our Digital Product Manager (Fundraising), you’ll help us create better digital experiences for our supporters. You’ll make it easier for people to donate, fundraise and connect with Alzheimer’s Society.
You’ll join our Digital and Ecommerce team within our Income and Engagement directorate. Working with colleagues across Fundraising, Digital, Data and Technology, you’ll use insight, data and product expertise to understand what our supporters need and turn those insights into improvements.
Do you enjoy finding out what works, spotting opportunities and turning ideas into better experiences? This could be the role for you.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of digital experience at Alzheimer’s Society. Your work will help more people engage with our cause and support people affected by dementia.
What you’ll do
You’ll help our digital fundraising products grow and improve. You’ll use user insight, data and product expertise to create experiences that work for our supporters.
You’ll ask questions, explore possibilities and help us understand how we can do things better. You’ll:
- Manage and improve our digital fundraising products, including donation journeys, event registration platforms and third-party fundraising tools.
- Create and evolve product roadmaps, helping teams understand what we’re improving and why.
- Use analytics, user feedback and testing to improve supporter journeys and increase engagement.
- Work with colleagues, technical teams and external suppliers to deliver improvements.
- Build strong relationships across the organisation and bring teams together around shared goals.
- Champion accessible and user-friendly digital experiences.
- Support agile ways of working through collaboration, learning and continuous improvement.
- Share knowledge and help colleagues feel confident using digital products and tools.
Could you help us make every digital interaction easier, clearer and more meaningful for our supporters?
About you
We’re looking for someone who is curious, collaborative and motivated by creating digital experiences that make a difference.
Maybe you’ve followed a traditional product management career path. Or perhaps you’ve built your experience through digital delivery, ecommerce, website management or improving online experiences. Either way, we’re interested in the skills and experience you can bring.
Do you enjoy bringing people together around a shared goal? Are you someone who uses insight and evidence to understand problems and find solutions?
You’ll bring experience of:
- Managing digital products or websites, creating and evolving roadmaps and delivering continuous improvement.
- Managing fundraising products and tools such as Fundraise Up, Enthuse, GoDonate, Funraisin, JustGiving or similar digital platforms.
- Building trusted relationships with stakeholders, suppliers and teams across a complex organisation.
- Working in agile environments, using approaches such as Scrum, iterative delivery and continuous learning.
- Using analytics, including Google Analytics 4, to understand user behaviour and improve supporter journeys.
You’ll communicate clearly with different audiences. You’ll enjoy solving problems, sharing ideas and working with others to create positive change.
Do you want your digital expertise to help make a difference for people affected by dementia?
You don’t need to meet every requirement to apply. If this role excites you and you feel you have the skills and experience to make a difference, we’d love to hear from you.
Together, we can create digital experiences that help more people affected by dementia access support and join our movement for change.
Interviews are provisionally scheduled to take place on Tuesday 1st September via MS Teams.
