We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various premises. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and possess a keen eye for detail to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitising surfaces in commercial spaces.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately, ensuring recycling protocols are followed.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Ensure all areas are kept tidy and presentable throughout the working shift.
- Adhere to organisational policies regarding cleaning procedures and confidentiality.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor polishers or carpet cleaners is advantageous.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
