Class 2 Dustcart Driver

Hours: 45 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Salary: £17.34 per hour
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Class 2 Dustcart Driver to join our waste collection team. You will be responsible for driving a refuse collection vehicle and working alongside loaders to collect household and commercial waste safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class 2 dustcart on designated collection routes.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
- Work closely with loaders to complete collections on time.
- Ensure all waste is collected safely and in line with company procedures.
- Follow all road traffic laws and health and safety regulations.
- Complete relevant paperwork and vehicle checks.
Requirements
- Full UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous dustcart or refuse collection experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of driver hours and road safety regulations.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
