Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated GCSE Maths Tutor to inspire and support students in mastering their mathematics skills. Duties
- Deliver engaging one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions focused on GCSE Mathematics curriculum topics
- Assess students’ current understanding and identify areas for improvement
- Develop tailored lesson plans that align with students’ individual learning needs and exam requirements
- Use effective teaching methods to simplify complex concepts and foster active learning
- Track student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to students and parents
- Prepare students for exam-style questions, practice tests, and revision strategies
- Maintain clear communication with students, parents, and coordinators to ensure consistent support and progress monitoring
Qualifications
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching GCSE Mathematics or similar levels of education
- Strong knowledge of the GCSE Maths curriculum and exam techniques
- Experience working with children or young learners, including those with special educational needs
- Excellent communication skills to explain concepts clearly and motivate students effectively
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles and abilities
