Clinical Lead – Learning Disability
Location: Brighton, East Sussex (Head Office based with travel across East and West Sussex)
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (DOE)
Hours: This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday).

SDR is looking for an experienced Clinical Lead (RNLD or RGN with Learning Disability experience) to provide clinical leadership and support across our specialist supported living and residential services throughout East and West Sussex. Based at our Head Office in Brighton, with regular travel across our services, this is a fantastic opportunity to influence high-quality care and improve outcomes for adults with autism, learning disabilities and complex health needs.
You will work collaboratively with Registered Managers, support teams and healthcare professionals, providing clinical oversight, guidance and expertise to ensure the people we support receive exceptional, person-centred care that promotes independence, wellbeing and positive outcomes.
This role offers autonomy, variety and the opportunity to work as part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team committed to delivering outstanding care.
Your Responsibilities
As our Clinical Lead, you will:
- Lead health assessments and develop person-centred Health Action Plans
- Monitor and respond to changes in physical and mental health
- Support Senior team in management of heath needs across ASC
- Complete and manage reports and other data
- Attend individual reviews when required
- Support complex clinical needs, including epilepsy management
- Work collaboratively with GPs, community healthcare teams and other professionals
- Provide clinical leadership, guidance and support to the registered managers and their care teams
- Promote safeguarding, quality assurance and best practice
- Ensure the individual receives exceptional, person-centred care that supports positive outcomes
About You
You'll be:
- A Registered Nurse (RNLD or RGN)
- Registered with the NMC with no restrictions
- Experienced, with at least one year's post-registration practice
- Confident supporting people with learning disabilities and complex health needs, including epilepsy
- Compassionate, proactive and committed to delivering high-quality care
- An excellent communicator with strong clinical judgement
