Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team at DPD Kinmel Bay. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, excellent driving skills, and adherence to safety regulations. Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including full size 3.5 tonne vans, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet scheduled deadlines.
- Load and unload items carefully, ensuring the integrity of the cargo during transit.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain high delivery standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery times or issues.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and safety regulations during all driving activities.
- Assist with loading and unloading when required, ensuring proper handling of goods.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with commercial driving experience - not essential but welcome
- Valid driving licence with no more than 6 points and held for at least 2 years.
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude when dealing with clients.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
- Physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks and long periods of driving.

Pay: £105.00-£140.00 per day
