The Role
We are currently looking for a Business Support Administrator to join our fantastic team. This
could suit either an experienced administrator or someone looking to build their career in office
administration and business support.
Based in the Cheltenham office and reporting to the Office Manager, the role involves supporting the
smooth day-to-day running of the office, including answering and forwarding calls for all four offices,
welcoming visitors and providing administrative support to the wider team.
We are flexible on working arrangements and welcome applications from candidates seeking full-time,
part-time or school-hours working patterns.
Responsibilities
Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls for all four offices, taking and emailing messages when necessary
Welcome visitors when they arrive and ensure they sign in
Support cross group client facing teams with administration tasks, including the use of agency management systems
Preparing meeting packs / conference room ahead of meetings
Completing and processing paperwork
Diary management
Maintain accurate data and records
General office duties including sending out mailouts, data inputting, mail merges, and creating name badges
General housekeeping – ensuring the office space / cupboards are tidy
Monitor and replenish office supplies and stock levels
Support internal systems, processes and administrative improvements where required
Assist with audit, compliance or document management tasks where required
Essential skills
Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (especially Word and Excel) and IT systems generally
Ability to multitask
Problem solving skills
Ability to work independently and as a team
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks
Professional, can-do and proactive attitude
GCSE Maths and English
Desirable (but not essential)
Previous administration or office support experience
Familiarity with audits, compliance or document management processes
Confidence using AI tools or an interest in learning new technologies
Experience using business, HR or project management systems
