We are looking for a Payroll and Finance Specialist to join our friendly finance team in Leeds.
Salary - £35,000 per annum
Weekly Hours - 40 hours per week (part time will be considered)
Working Days - Monday to Friday
What you will be doing?
Working across both our Payroll and Finance teams, you'll spend around one day per week supporting payroll activities, with the reminder of your time focused on finance operations and accounting responsibilities.
Payroll Responsibilities:
- Process weekly payroll
- Process monthly payroll
- Complete EPS submissions and HMRC reporting
- Analyse weekly timesheet data and provide payroll relating reporting
- Management of Attachment of Earnings requirements and payments
- Support the annual P11D processing
- Respond to Payroll and Payslip queries
- Process new starter and leaver information
- Submit pension and student loan deductions
Finance Reponsibilities
- Assist with monthly P&L
- Credit Card Processing
- Petty cash processing
- GRN Review
- Review Supplier Statements
- VAT Return
- Bank Reconciliations
- National Statistic Returns
- Weekly System Checks
What we want from you:.
- Previous experience of End-to End Payroll
- Strong Knowledge of PAYE, NI Calculations and Payroll best practice
- Previous experience of Finance Administration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and professional
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines
