Due to post-holder retirement, we are seeking a suitably qualified and highly experienced Early Years Teacher to join our team and make a difference in the lives of young children. The role is full time, however, part time (job share) may be considered for the right candidate(s).
** Early Years Teacher **Location:** Goslings Day Nurseries Ltd, Coventry, CV1 2LD
**Responsibilities:**
Goslings is a play-based setting with a strong ethos of learning through play. Teachers and practitioners plan and initiate activities to match the EYFS curriculum and our own additional in-house curriculums, which are based on promoting independence and developing emotional regulation and wellbeing. The successful candidate will Provide high-quality care and education for children in the nursery, based in the 3-4 year old classroom. Kindness, empathy and a genuine passion to nurture children's wellbeing, helping them feel safe, secure, valued and prioritised is essential. You will:
· plan and implement activities to support children's learning and development
· Work to the required standard of compliance and maintain policy compliance
· Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
· Implement procedures for health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care
· Maintain accurate records and monitor children's progress.
**Requirements:**
Relevant teaching qualification, as defined by the DfE e.g. EYTS, QTS with EY accreditation, Level 6 or 7 in the field of Early years. You will need at least 5 years experience working in a nursery setting, private school or similar high-level provision. Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and as a senior leader to manage a small team. Proven track record in delivering not just high quality care but a truly child-centric mindset. This role requires written formal report writing on a frequent basis.

ALL YEAR ROUND. Please note that this post is for 50 weeks per year (off for 2 weeks at Christmas) plus 4 weeks of additional self-chosen dates, plus all bank holidays. It is not a term time only post. Please only apply if you are available to and willing to work all year round. We are unable to accommodate school-run or term-time only workers. Around 3 days a year we hold open mornings on a Saturday morning, that the post holder would need to be available for.
Ideally, we would be open to considering 2 applicants job sharing a role as follows: Candidate A: 24hr over 2 fixed days of 8hr each, Candidate B: 16hr over 3 fixed days of 8hr each or 1 full-time candidate working a 40hr week over 5 days. However, please approach us if you have a different pattern in mind. Salary range mentioned is for 1 post holder on 40 hours/week
