We are 1st Homecare Solutions, Leighton Buzzard branch. We are a home care provider, part of the 1st Homecare Group, which has branches also in Hertfordshire and Oxfordshire and a Live In care branch. We have recently been awarded an “Outstanding” rating by the Care Quality Commission, our Regulator, which we are exceptionally proud of. We are now looking for a part time Care Coordinator to join the team, reporting to the Registered Manager, who can co-ordinate visits to some 60+ clients who live in Leighton Buzzard and the surrounding villages.
The successful candidate will be kind, compassionate, organised, have a cheerful and polite telephone manner, work well under pressure and be a strong team player. Previous care experience is not a requirement, but an understanding of co-ordination and logistics is required. The role will include the following:
· Coordinate and manage care staff rotas efficiently
· Ensure care visits are allocated correctly and consistently
· Communication clearly with service users, families, and healthcare professionals
· Support recruitment, onboarding, and supervision of care staff
· Help with some quality assurance monitoring
· Respond promptly to any changes in care requirements or emergencies
· Ensure compliance with company policies and care standards
· To carry out On Call duties outside office hours once full training has been undertaken
