Shopfitting Joiner – Primarily working with Modular Shelving and Prefab Woodwork
Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Shopfitting Joiner to join our team, primarily working on the installation, assembly and modification of modular shelving and shopfitting systems.
The role will involve working both independently and as part of a team to deliver high quality retail installations. The successful candidate will have good practical joinery skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently to project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and install modular shelving, display units and retail fixtures.
- Carry out general joinery and woodwork to a high standard.
- Read and work from drawings, plans and installation instructions.
- Working from layout plans and liaising with Project Managers
- Use hand and power tools safely and competently.
- Carry out snagging, adjustments and finishing work.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working area.
- Work professionally on customer premises and represent the company positively.
- Work to agreed schedules and project deadlines.
- The role will primarily involve working on site plus occasionally in company warehouse.
Requirements
- Previous experience in shopfitting, joinery or retail installation an advantage.
- Competent use of hand and power tools.
- Ability to read basic technical drawings and measurements.
- Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual and flexible approach to work.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
Pay: £32,500.00-£35,360.00 per year
