Duties
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to food safety standards
- Lead food production and preparation, maintaining consistency and quality across all menu items
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and motivation to foster a collaborative team environment
- Manage food inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling waste to optimize kitchen efficiency
- Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations
- Serve as a role model for hospitality excellence by engaging with guests and supporting service staff when needed
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience in a culinary or restaurant setting, demonstrating strong leadership skills
- Extensive food production and preparation experience across diverse cuisines
- Solid background in kitchen operations, including food safety protocols and sanitation practices
- Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and service
- Hands-on cooking expertise with a passion for culinary innovation and presentation
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, especially in fast-paced or upscale environments
- Strong understanding of hospitality principles, including serving guests with professionalism and warmth
