Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting daily office operations, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring smooth communication across departments.
Responsibilities
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence via email, phone, and postal services with professionalism and courtesy
- Maintain and update organisational records using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks / Sage where applicable
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is correctly recorded and stored
- knowledge of Ebay - creating listings, downloading reports, picking orders.
- Support invoicing, billing, and bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Organise files both digitally and physically to ensure easy retrieval of information
- Provide general administrative support to various departments as needed
Qualifications
- Previous office or administrative experience is preferred
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive), and data entry software Sage / QuickBooks is essential.
- Good typing speed with high accuracy
- Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software is essential
- Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and organisational prowess are essential for success in this role
