Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Cleaner to join our Nursing Home. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within private residences and commercial properties. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial premises, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
- Ensure all areas are cleaned to the highest standards, paying particular attention to kitchens and bathrooms
- Use cleaning equipment and products safely and efficiently
- Restock supplies as needed and report any maintenance issues or damages
- Follow specific client instructions regarding cleaning preferences and special requests
- Maintain organisational standards of cleanliness in storage areas and cleaning equipment
- Occasionally assist with light cooking or food preparation tasks as required by clients
- Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, professional, and responsive to client needs
Requirements
- Previous experience in cleaning services, equipment, and safe handling of cleaning chemicals
- Experience with cooking or food preparation is a plus but not essential
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively
- Excellent communication service skills with a friendly and professional attitude towards our clients
- Flexibility to adapt to different environments and client requirements
