At Home Instead we know how important it is for people in our local community to live where they feel most comfortable - at home. We are looking for someone to visit our clients in Leek and Endon during both mornings and evenings (7am-2:15pm - or 4pm-10pm) including alternate weekends. We have full-time or part-time available.
All initial calls with a client who is new to you will be introductions with the support of another colleague, so you can really get to know your client and their needs.

Responsibilities as a Care Assistant:
- Support with personal care tasks such as toileting and showering.
- Perform household tasks such as light cleaning and tidying.
- Engage with fun activities with your client, such as playing scrabble or cards.
- Ensure transparent communication with clients and loved ones, offering first-rate care and comfort.
- Write accurate daily notes, keeping up strong communication with the office.
- Administer medication and record appropriately.
Requirements:
- You must be reliable and punctual to ensure we can continue to provide an excellent service to our clients.
- Must have a caring, friendly personality.
