With that in mind, we are seeking a dedicated HR Advisor to join our small HR team. As an HR Advisor, you will work closely with the Head of People and play a crucial role in supporting the operational side of the business through effective employee relations management. This is a varied, hands-on role giving you the opportunity to make a real difference across the full employee lifecycle in a fast-paced production environment. This is also a great opportunity to shape the role around your strengths and take real ownership of key areas of the HR function as it develops.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations: including managing employee relation cases such as capability, disciplinary and grievances.
- Absence Management: own the day-to-day management of sickness absence, including absence trigger. Provide advise to managers on reasonable adjustments and best practice.
- Training: coordinate and deliver internal training, maintain accurate training records and compliance tracking, arrange booking of required training.
- Recruitment and On-boarding: manage the on-boarding process end-to-end, including right-to-work checks and induction scheduling.
- Wellbeing: design and delivery of wellbeing initiatives across the site, a key point of contact for wellbeing signposting and support.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an HR Advisor or similar role, ideally within a fast-paced operational or manufacturing environment.
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and ACAS guidance.
- Confidence handling ER casework.
- Confident communicator, able to build credibility with managers at all levels.
Desirable:
- CIPD qualified or relevant experience.
- Experience within a fast-paced operational, manufacturing, or food production environment.
Pay: £36,500.00-£38,000.00 per year
