Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner Level 3 to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for young children to learn, grow, and develop essential skills. Your leadership will inspire confidence in both children and colleagues, ensuring high standards of childcare and education are consistently met. Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote children’s developmental milestones across cognitive, social, emotional, and physical domains
- Supervise and support children during daily routines such as playtime, mealtime, nap times, and outdoor activities
- Foster a warm, welcoming environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and confidence in young learners
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and any incidents in line with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop tailored learning plans that meet individual needs and interests
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children’s progress, achievements, and any concerns
- Lead by example in maintaining high standards of health, safety, and hygiene within the nursery setting
Qualifications
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Childhood Education (or equivalent)
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting
- Strong management and leadership skills to guide team members effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English to engage confidently with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of childcare regulations and best practices for early childhood development
- Ability to demonstrate patience, creativity, and enthusiasm in working with young children
