Full-Time Job Opportunity - Pig Stockperson.
A family farming enterprise near Newport in Shropshire, is seeking a Pig Stockperson to join their small friendly team. They will be responsible for the day to day management of the unit.
Applicants will be expected to have at least 1 year experience of working with pigs, show a strong attention to detail, and be hard working and reliable.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
- Daily care for the pigs, including checking and feeding.
- Administering treatments and vaccinations as required.
- Maintaining accurate records.
- Maintaining high levels of hygiene and biosecurity.
- Grassland management, including maintaining pig paddocks.
- General telehandler and farm work.
Very competitive salary dependent on experience and qualifications.
