Position: Garden Shed installer/Delivery driver
Hours of Work: Full time, this is an on the road job with nationwide coverage (early starts/late finishes)
Salary £13.00 - £15.00 (dependent on experience) 38-60 hrs per week on average.
Overview
Based in Ferrybridge, Pontefract, we are one of the leading supplier of bespoke timber garden sheds and timber buildings.
We are looking for experienced Garden shed/room installers to join our busy team installing our quality buildings around the country.
This is a hands-on role requiring a high level of woodworking skills, experience in working with a variety of power tools and a commitment to working to a high standard of quality.
Experience in installing a wide range of Timber sheds and Garden buildings is required.
Ability to drive large vans and box vans.
Key Responsibilities include:
· Load vehicles, ensuring all products/materials are quality checked
· Deliver, assemble and install Timber sheds.
· Able to think on your feet, resolve on site issues ensuring every job is complete to the required quality standard.
· Working nationwide, with early starts late finishes to meet project deadlines
· Ensuring a premium finish and a high level of customer service is achieved.
About you:
· Applicants must have a full clean driver’s licence and be aged over 25 or over with two years driving experience (Due to insurance restrictions).
· Reliable and physically fit, and comfortable with long days and travel. Start times can be from 3:00am.
· Occasional night outs may be required
· Strong woodworking background essential, prior experience preferred.
· Reliable, highly organised with a high level of accuracy and strong detail to attention
· Confident and proactive able to think on their feet, and able to use own initiative, to ensure projects are completed on time
· With excellent communication skills.
· Willing to learn and able to manage a varied workload, adapting as priorities change
· Happy to work as part of a small team and occasionally working alone.
