Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Account Manager / Customer Service Executive with a strong background in logistics. This role is key to maintaining and growing client relationships, managing bookings, and ensuring smooth delivery operations. The successful candidate will be highly customer-focused, confident, and detail-oriented.
Key Responsibilities

Act as the main point of contact for assigned customer accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships.

Handle day-to-day customer queries and provide service updates in a timely, professional manner.

Manage and process bookings for overnight, international, and same-day deliveries.

Liaise with operations, warehouse staff, and drivers to ensure smooth execution of services.

Provide accurate documentation and tracking for shipments.

Proactively resolve service issues and escalate when necessary.

Identify opportunities to upsell services and grow existing accounts.

Support warehouse/same-day operations when required.
Essential Skills & Experience

Proven customer service experience with a solid background in logistics.

Strong understanding of overnight, international, and same-day bookings.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal).

Highly organised with strong attention to detail.

Confident, persuasive, and able to handle customer-facing interactions.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and logistics booking systems.

Flexible- May include some weekend and OOH
Desirable

Background in warehouse or same-day courier operations.

Experience supporting sales teams or account growth within logistics.
