Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care tailored to each child's individual needs, following detailed care plans developed in collaboration with professionals and families
- Support children with daily routines such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, educational activities, and recreational outings
- Foster open communication by actively listening and engaging with children to build trust and confidence
- Maintain a safe environment by supervising children at all times and ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols
- Assist with transportation needs, including driving children to appointments, school, or activities when required
- Document progress, incidents, and relevant observations accurately using IT systems designed for care documentation
- Collaborate with colleagues, social workers, families, and external agencies to ensure consistent support for each child's development
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare or support setting is highly desirable
- Valid driving license and experience driving safely in various conditions is preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and team members
- Knowledge of creating and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs
- Familiarity with IT systems used for documentation and reporting in childcare environments
- Passion for supporting young people’s growth and well-being with a proactive, energetic approach
