My client requires an experienced Roofer to join their maintenance team on a temporary contract. The role involves carrying out responsive and planned roofing maintenance and replacement works across customers' homes.
Location: Sunderland
Pay: £20.08 per hour
Hours: Full-time
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 12 weeks
Roofer
Carry out responsive and planned roofing maintenance and replacement works
Complete flat roofing works, gutter re-lines, replacements and cleaning
Work safely as part of a maintenance team across customers' homes
Ensure appropriate parts and materials are available to complete works promptly
Manage van-based stock effectively
Provide excellent customer service through clear and respectful communication
Complete all work in line with relevant legal, Health & Safety and organisational standards
Requirements
Must hold a full UK Driving Licence
DBS required for the position
Recognised indentured craft apprenticeship in roofing or City & Guilds
Advanced Craft Certificate in Roofing, Slating & Tiling or NVQ Level 2 in Roofing, Slating & Tiling
Hot Works Training
TETRA Ladder Safety System Level 1-3
Knowledge and understanding of relevant Health & Safety regulations
Ability to work at height and in external environments
Effective communication and customer care skills
Flexible approach to meet the demands of the role
Competent using handheld IT systems
Openness to continual learning and developing skills
