Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely, ensuring timely arrivals, and maintaining excellent communication with clients and team members. Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles, including flatbed lorries, in compliance with all road safety and traffic regulations
- Deliver goods to various locations within designated areas, ensuring accurate and timely drop-offs
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly
- Load and unload cargo safely, utilising appropriate warehouse equipment when necessary
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding schedules or delays
- Adhere to all health and safety policies to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
- Assist with warehouse tasks as needed, including inventory checks and organising stock
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver, preferably with flatbed or similar vehicles
- Valid driver’s licence suitable for the vehicle type, including <PERSON> driver certification if applicable
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Strong communication skills for liaising with clients, dispatchers, and team members
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during routes
- Demonstrated commitment to safety standards and road regulations

Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour
