AVED LTD is seeking a reliable and dedicated Courier Driver to join our team at DPD. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely delivery of packages and documents, ensuring that all items are handled with care and delivered to the correct locations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage heavy lifting as needed.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a van for the delivery of goods and documents.
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to various locations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pick-ups.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure proper working condition.
- Report any vehicle issues or accidents immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record .
- Driving licence experience minimum 1 year.
- Experience in commercial driving is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively. .
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service.
- The role is self-employed.
