Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber/Bathroom Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and bathroom fittings across a variety of residential and commercial properties. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with safety standards and regulations
- Fit bathrooms by installing baths, basins, toilets, showers, and related fittings with precision and care
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to complete installations and repairs effectively
- Conduct inspections to identify faults or potential issues within plumbing systems and resolve them efficiently
- Measure materials accurately using basic maths skills to ensure proper fitting and alignment
- Perform heavy lifting when handling large fixtures or materials safely
- Follow technical drawings and mechanical knowledge to assemble components correctly
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to health and safety protocols at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience in plumbing, bathroom fitting, or related trades
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry techniques
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during installations
- Valid driving licence for commercial driving purposes (preferred)
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations relevant to plumbing work
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments
Candidates with additional skills such as welding or experience with assembly will be highly regarded. Prior experience working on both residential and commercial projects is advantageous. This role offers a dynamic working environment where craftsmanship and professionalism are valued.
