We're looking for a reliable and skilled Carpenter to join our team, carrying out a variety of small works and maintenance projects across residential and commercial properties.
The Role
You'll be responsible for completing a range of carpentry tasks, including repairs, installations, and minor refurbishment works. The role requires someone who takes pride in producing high-quality workmanship, can work independently, and delivers excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- First and second fix carpentry.
- Hanging doors and fitting ironmongery.
- Installing skirting, architraves, kitchens, and other joinery.
- Repairing and replacing timber components.
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance works.
- Completing small refurbishment projects.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, to a high standard, and within agreed timescales.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy work area.
- Communicating professionally with customers and colleagues.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a qualified carpenter.
- Ability to undertake a wide variety of carpentry and maintenance tasks.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload.
- Full UK driving licence.
- CSCS card.
- Own tools.
